Why Kakobuy, and when not
The case for Kakobuy, made only from what it has put in writing, with the cases where the same writing points you elsewhere.
What every shopping agent does the same
Strip out the branding and most agents sell the same chain: buy from a Chinese shop for you, receive it at a warehouse, photograph and weigh it, store it for a while, combine it with other items, and hand the parcel to a carrier. Kakobuy’s home page puts it in three cards: domestic platform purchasing, global transshipment, and a new-user offer.
So the useful comparisons are not the cards. They are the numbers and rules behind them: what you pay on top of the item, how long storage is free, what inspection covers, which carriers you can choose, and what happens when something goes wrong. Those are what the rest of this index files.
Why Kakobuy: what is specific to it
Four things are on the record and particular to Kakobuy:
- No agent fee. Help 63 says so outright. Your cost is item, shipping and the exchange-rate spread.
- 100 days of free storage, with a reminder on day 90 (help 1).
- Automatic link reading for Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD (help 4), with a manual form for everything else.
- Two named companies: EVERYDAY GO INC in Denver on the About and Contact pages, and ANXIN SHOPPING CO., LTD in England (company number 16947583) on the Contact page and in the privacy policy.
The public shipping estimator also helps: no account needed, every line with its rules. Not every agent shows lines before sign-up.

When to use another agent, and the other agents you will also see
Kakobuy is the wrong choice in some cases, and the help centre tells you which:
- You need electronics tested before shipping. Kakobuy does not check function (help 76).
- Your order is mostly from Weidian, Xianyu or Yupoo and you want after-sales. Fill & Buy orders have none and cannot be cancelled after payment.
- You want a written answer on free photo counts, membership or a founding date before you trust an agent. Those are not in the help centre.
- You pay by PayPal and the surcharge decides it. Official articles conflict between 3.5% and 2.9%, each plus US$0.30; the actual checkout governs.
Other shopping agents you will also see in catalogue links and forum threads include Superbuy, CSSBuy, Sugargoo, Hoobuy, Oopbuy and Lovegobuy. They sell the same chain with different fee models: some charge an agent fee and a smaller exchange spread, some charge for storage sooner, some publish photo counts. Compare on the same four questions: total cost for one real order, free storage days, inspection scope, and the written rule for a lost parcel. Help 99 shows how much one template can travel between agents: it still names Sugargoo.
How to judge whether an agent is trustworthy
An agent holds your money for days and your goods for weeks, so judge it on the paperwork:
- A named company with an address and a registration you can look up. Kakobuy names two.
- Written rules for loss, in the warehouse and in transit, with caps and exclusions. Kakobuy has both (help 112, 113) and an optional insurance (help 123).
- Help articles that agree. Count the conflicts. Kakobuy’s help centre has nine pairs; the two-answers page lists them.
- Refund routes. Back to the original method, with times (help 104).
- Claims you cannot check. Help 79 says Kakobuy has “more than 30 overseas branch offices”. With no list, give it no weight.

Why this site, and what we do differently
Plenty of pages repeat Kakobuy’s marketing. What we do differently is file every claim to an article number, read the articles against each other, and say so when two of them disagree. If Kakobuy edits an article, the change goes on the updates page with the date.
This edition records its source dates: the help-centre text was last read on 14 October 2026, the category links are checked for dead links when the site is rebuilt, and the screenshots carry their capture dates. When a section quotes a price, the date of that price is next to it.
It is also limited on purpose. We cannot see your orders, cannot speak for Kakobuy, and do not rank agents.
